How
to cut small text ?
The Smoothing Cut (under
FUNCTION option) must be disabled. In addition,
to obtain a better output, the cutting force, depends on material
types, is suggested to decreased 10~20g from a normal one, and
a new sharp knife is also recommended.
Choose “Small Letter” as the cutting quality.

Can
I do die cut (cut after print) with GCC cutting plotter?
Yes. However, it depends on what sign-making program
you are operating with. For instance, FlexiSign, CASmate Pro
and Signlab are all supporting such feature when running with
GCC cutting plotter. If you are interested in such application,
please feel free to contact us for further instructions. |
 |
What
is the maximum acceptable media thickness for GCC cutting plotter?
1.2 mm (including backing paper) |
 |
Can
the RAM size be expanded?
Yes, it can be expanded from 1MB to 4MB
|
 |
Can
GCC cutting plotter work with Mac PC?
Yes, but you need a Mac modem cable (mini din 8 to
DB25) to join with GCC's RS-232 cable. The cables are available
from GCC. |
 |
What
is the difference between Re-Cut and Copy function?
Re-Cut is chiefly for multiple cutting with different
media (change a new media after every cutting). Machine stops
at every end of cutting and asks for an interaction. The Re-Cut
function will execute the data from the buffer on top of the
location of previous output, until a new origin is set. The
other application of Re-Cut is to prolong blade's lifecycle,
especially when cutting thicker media. However, you may need
to cut the media more than one time in order to cut through.
The Copy function will allow you to duplicate output up to
9999 times. To do correctly, after the very first output,
you need to relocate a new origin for following cuttings.
After the above step and selecting a copy number, machine
will automatically shift to a new location for the next output. |

 |
Can
it be re-filled?
Yes. |
 |
What
warranty comes with LaserPro?
12 months on machine (lens, mirror and working table
are excluded) right from the shipping date. |
 |
What
safety does LaserPro comply with?
LaserPro is FCC (ID# LO4GRC-LASER) and CE (EMC) approved.
CDRH (Center for Devices and Radiological Health) Class 3a is
under way. |
 |
What
is the minimum precaution of operating it?
Working glasses or goggles are recommended when maintaining
the machine. |
 |
Can
LaserPro engrave or cut unprocessed (non-anodized) metal?
No. Only anodized or coated metal can be engraved by
CO2. |
 |
What
materials can be processed by CO2 laser?
Virtually any materials except unprocessed metal and
substances that are too heat sensitive, such as poly foam. |
 |
What
is the maximum thickness of acrylic can be cut through by L-25?
10mm with one pass at 100% power, 0.1% speed. |
 |
What
is the maximum engraving speed of LaserPro?
1016 mm/sec (42 inch/sec). When engraving an A4 (18
x 28 cm) size square with 250dpi at full speed, it takes LaserPro
18 minutes to complete. |
 |
Can
LaserPro be used under Windows 3.x?
Yes. Please download driver for Windows 3.x and instruction. |
 |
What
memory configurations are available on LaserPro?
16MB & 64MB (32x2) SIMM. |
 |
What
is the requirement of exhaustion system for air filter?
The air blower’s power of exhaustion system provided
by GCC is 0.75kw with airflow 13/15 CMM (50Hz/60Hz).It is recommended
to pipe the exhaust end of the filter out of working room. |
 |
What
is the minimum requirement of a cooling system for 50W laser?
Heat Load (max):800W, Flow Rate:1.5GPM, Temperature:18~20
degree Centigrade . |
 |
What
is the main purpose of air assist & air compressor?
The air assist kit is standard component comes with
LaserPro.In conjunction with optional air compressor (airflow
90L/min, pressure 3kg/cm2), the air assist can provide a much
better engraving & cutting effect, as it will blow away
vaporized particles and prevent fire due to overheating. |
 |
What
does cutting table do?
The cutting table, also known as honeycomb table, is
especially useful for vector cutting application. The space between
materials and working table, gapped by cutting table, allows
heat and smoke to be dispersed and vented out which may otherwise
cause bad cutting effect. |
 |
What
is Rotary Attachment’s working boundary?
The maximum diameter and length of the to-be-engraved
object is 90mm and 450mm respectively. Its maximum weight should
not exceed 7kg. |
